Science Committee

The Science Committee is a permanent commission of the Council of the Doctoral School. Its tasks are as follows:

  1. supervising the appointment and change of supervisors
  2. giving opinions and approving Individual Research Plans (IRP) after 2nd semester and their possible modifications
  3. evaluation of the realization of the IRPs
  4. proposing changes in the procedure of mid-term evaluation
  5. proposing mid-term evaluation schedule
  6. appointing the composition of particular mid-term evaluation commissions
  7. supervising the course of mid-term evaluation
  8. performing other tasks indicated by the Chair of the Council or the Head of the Science Committee

The members of the Committee are representatives of all the scientific disciplines leading education at the Doctoral School and representatives of the PhD students indicated by the PhD students Council.
