General information

‘Implementation doctorate’ program was established by the announcement of the Minister of Science and Higher Education (now the Minister of Education and Science) on May 29, 2019.

The essence of the program is to create conditions to develop the cooperation between universities and socio-economic environment performed within Doctoral Schools and based on educating PhD students in cooperation with the companies employing them.

The program has 2 modules:

‘Implementation doctorate I’ – this module covers theses written by the PhD students conducting research activities other than specified below, the results of which may be applied in the companies employing a given PhD student.

‘Implementation doctorate II – artificial intelligence’ – this module refers to theses written by the PhD students conducting research activities in the field of artificial intelligence in technological or social processes, including cyber-security, the results of which may be applied in the companies employing a given PhD student.
