Warsaw Mayor's Award - Edition 2024

We are announcing recruitment for the 9th edition of the Warsaw Mayor's Award for master's theses and doctoral dissertations! If you defended your thesis in 2023, which addresses topics related to Warsaw and its development, we invite you to participate in the competition! This is an excellent opportunity to share the results of your research and contribute to the discussion about our city. We are waiting for applications from various fields and scientific disciplines - every voice in the debate on the history, present and future of Warsaw is important.

The main prize in the doctoral dissertation category is PLN 15,000, and we will additionally award three distinctions of PLN 6,000 each. In the master's theses category, the winner of the main prize will receive PLN 7,000, and the distinguished works will be awarded PLN 3,000.
