Verification of foreign language knowledge at B2 level of WUT Doctoral School PhD Students

In accordance with the ,Act on Higher Education and Science („Prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym i nauce”) of July 20, 2018, one of the conditions for obtaining a doctoral degree is to have language competences at the level of at least B2 (Article 186, section 2)

PhD students who are citizens of Poland or one of the European Union countries and started first-cycle studies or long-cycle master's studies after October 1, 2007, do not have to confirm these language qualifications in any other way.

PhD students who do not meet above mentioned requirements, must report to the Doctoral School Office of WUT Doctoral School (Rektorska 4, room 3.02 or send an e-mail to ksztalcenie.sd@pw.edu.pl) to receive a referral to the WUT Foreign Languages Center (Studium Języków Obcych), which carries out the verification procedure.
